What is the IRC?
The Information Resource Center (IRC) is a library that provides current and authoritative information about the United States, its policies, society, and culture. It offers reference and research services to Tajik government officials, non-governmental organizations, media, academics, students, businesses, and others with professional interest in the United States.

Resources and Services:
The Information Resource Center collection includes reference books, books about the United States and contemporary issues, and access to hundreds of periodicals and to many commercial databases.
Research Assistance
The IRC staff assists clients in locating information about United States culture, society, government, foreign policy, and law. Inquiries may be made on site, through individual consultation, by telephone, or email.
On-Site Free Internet Access
The IRC provides free access to the Internet for conducting research. The IRC coordinator can help you locate the information you need.
Outreach
The IRC coordinator can provide you with weekly compilations of current articles and reports on subjects of interest including political, economic, global, democracy, and human rights issues.
