Ambassador Jacobson visits U.S. Government Projects in Sughd
U.S. Ambassador Tracey Ann Jacobson visited the Sugd region May 18 and 19 to assess U.S. Government projects and host a concert by visiting American pianist David Korevaar. During her visit, Ambassador Jacobson traveled to Konibodom to meet with students studying in the English Access Microscholarship Program and to Shakristan to observe maternal and child health training activities sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). She also visited USAID projects in Khujand and spoke to students at the American Corner.
