American artist Martha Jackson-Jarvis in Dushanbe
Martha Jackson-Jarvis, a talented multimedia artist from Washington, D.C., arrived in Dushanbe June 5 for a 10-day visit with Tajik artists to share her expertise in how artists can market their work. Ms. Jackson-Jarvis and Tajik artists and students will create collaborative art pieces and exhibit them June 14 at the Bactria Cultural Center. Martha has held a number of master classes in art colleges and institutes of Dushanbe and gave a public lecture on public and environmental art.
