U.S. Embassy Dushanbe welcomes the new Deputy Chief of Mission  

Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Ambassador Tracey Ann Jacobson hosted a reception on August 13 for the Government of Tajikistan officials, representatives from Tajikistan's non-governmental sector, media and bilateral partners to welcome the new Deputy Chief of Mission Necia Quast, who arrived in Tajikistan with a two-year term.  DCM Necia Quast joined the Foreign Service in 1985 as an Economic Officer. She has served in Guyana, the former Democratic Republic of Germany, Zambia, Kyrgyzstan, India, Ukraine and Nigeria before coming to Tajikistan.  She has also served in the State Department in Washington, D.C.
