Resources
This section of the website offers a variety of information on the embassy supported grant programs, reference services and research material on the United States, and English language study resources.
This section has information on how to apply for grant programs, including the Democracy Commission Small Grants program, Alumni Grants, the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation, and the Access Microscholarship Program for youth.
The embassy’s Information Resource Center is a library that provides information about the United States, its policies, society, and culture. It offers reference and research services to Tajik government officials, non-governmental organizations, media, academics, students, businesses, and others with professional interest in the United States. The library also provides free Internet access for its visitors to search for online resources.
The three American Corners located in Dushanbe, Kulyab, and Khujand expand the embassy’s outreach efforts to different parts of Tajikistan. The Corners provide access to current and reliable information from and about the United States via book collections, the Internet, and through local programming such as public lectures, movie screenings, and round table discussions with local and visiting professionals. Two more Corners will open in Qurghon-Teppa and Khorog in the spring of this year.
